Anne Heining

Anne is half Brazilian and half English, and was initiated to the art of language at an early age. Bi-lingual in English and Portuguese, she added French, Spanish and Italian to the list as her family moved from country to country.

Anne went on to achieve a BA in French and Italian from Durham University, and has been working with languages ever since. Over the years, she has worked as a translator for a number of international companies including: The BBC, L’Oréal, Lloyds TSB, The Ayrton Senna Foundation, Net-a-Porter, Silverback Films and Generator Hostels, and has acted as an official dictionary translator for Lexus for Languages. She has also provided subtitles for BBC documentaries including  ‘The Man Who Cycled the Americas’, and for independent short films.

Anne has worked in BrazilFrance and Italy, refining her colloquial knowledge of these countries’ respective languages, and continues to use her translation skills on a daily basis in a wide range of genres. She has also worked as an English language editor for publications such as Diplomat Magazine and ‘Mrs. Moneypenny: Email from Tokyo’.

Anne now lives in Brighton and is passionate about providing an accurate and reliable service to her clients. She maintains strong links with Brazil whilst living in the U.K., and goes back to visit whenever possible.
