Anne Heining

Anne is half Brazilian and half English, and was initiated to the art of language from an early age. Bi-lingual in English and Portuguese, she added French, Spanish and Italian to the list from a young age as her family moved from country to country.
Anne went on to achieve a BA in French and Italian from Durham University, and has been exercising her language abilities ever since. She has done literal translation work for a number of international companies including The BBC, L’Oréal, Lloyds TSB, The Ayrton Senna Foundation and Generator Hostels, and has acted as an official dictionary translator for Lexus for Languages. She has also provided sub-titles for BBC documentaries, including ‘The Man Who Cycled the Americas’, and for independent short films.
Anne has worked in Brazil, France and Italy, honing her colloquial knowledge of the languages native to these countries, and continues to use her translation skills on a daily basis in a wide range of genres. She has also worked as an English language editor for publications such as Diplomat Magazine and ‘Mrs. Moneypenny: Email from Tokyo’.
Anne now resides in London and is passionate about providing an accurate and reliable service to her clients in the languages she has mastered.
